Silk Dupioni is a slubbed, textured shot silk fabric used in evening wear, bridal gowns, and special occasion garments in addition to light home decorating. Often the weft and warp are woven from different colors, producing a wonderful iridescent effect.  Silk is a natural fiber. The weaving of the fabric may therefore contain minor variations and irregularities that are characteristic of a fine silk yarn and should in no way be treated as defects. Colors may vary due to different dye lots.
