Originating in Madeira, Portugal, this “turned edge” technique of applique work allows for curved and shaped edges using a pin stitch. This wonderful technique brings a chic and modern look to traditional heirloom sewing for sophisticated results. Create a beautiful table topper. One, 4-hour session. Class fee: $39. Instructor: Mac Berg.
