Cutting Line Designs #51509 Fun with Fabrics - Blouse and Jacket Sewing Pattern
Jacket is very loose-fitting at mid-hip or mid-thigh length.  Accent fabric is recommended for the collar and front, hem, and sleeve bands.  Dropped shoulders with long sleeves.  Top is a loose-fitting pullover with bias neck binding, hip band with button closures.  Dropped shoulders with full-length sleeves.

Recommended Fabrics:  Jacket:  Medium weight woven fabrics with body, such as linen sutiings, silk shantung, dupioni, matka, lighter denim, poplin, bouclé.  Top:  Light to medium weight wovens, such as linen, Tencel®, challis, cotton and silkies.

Cutting Line Designs #52101 Passport to Style - Jacket and Shell Pattern

. This pattern by The Cutting Line has a loose swing fit jacket paired with an asymmetrical shell. Left and right fronts are different widths creating softly draped lapels.  Jacket also has asymmetrical hems with front and back flanges, drop shoulder, patch pocket and bracelet length sleeves.  The Shell has an asymmetrical neckline and front, with multi level hem,  Bias arm hole bindings, or optional single fold bias tape.

This is a single brushed melton, so the face has a napped pile, while the reverse does not.  This fabric will make a stunning  winter jacket or coat, and you can save your off-cuts to use as contrast collar and cuffs on one of our other meltons.  The face is so soft, you will believe it has cashmere in it.
