White Spring Steel Bones and Spiral Bones

Corset Bones - 6mm (1/4") European White Spring Steel Bones - #50-8206. Priced per bone. Several lengths available from the drop-down menu (click Modify Options if you have not chosen a length).

These wider White Spring Steel Bones are used to support corsets, evening wear bodices and bridal dresses. They also work well for the well boned Elizabethan bodice or Renaissance Faire bodice. You need fewer bones when using this wider style metal stay. This is also a great bone for the Rubanesque woman, as it not only offers good support, the casings are more in proportion to a scaled up bodice. 1/2" wide x .014 cm thick, choose your length from the drop-down menu. 

These are the German Wissner bones, so they won't rust and don't crimp.

6mm (1/4") Lightweight White Spring Steel Bones - #28-8106. Priced per bone. Several lengths available from the drop-down menu.

If you are unsure which bone to use for your project, this may be the perfect choice. It fits the 1/2" bone casing, it is more rigid than spiral bones but not at rigid as the European style #50-8206. This is a great multi-use bone! Use this in corset building for fashion garments, historical reenactment, period costumes, bridal and Gothic garments. Hand wash or dry clean, never machine wash. 5/16" wide x .018" thick, choose your length from the drop-down menu. 

8mm (5/16") White Spring Steel Bones - #28-8308. Priced per bone.

This extra strength tape is tubular to encase your spring steel and spiral bones in dresses and corsets. Washable (do not machine wash metal bones -- hand wash or dry clean those).
