Use with the Goldstar Hand Die for size 0.

Grommets have an eyelet from and a washer for the back.  The front eyelet passes through your fabric, and it flanges out across the washer to stay in place.  Grommets are ideal for use in corsets and other longterm situations, or when you need to protect your fabric.  

Regular eyelets do not have the washer, so the metal from the flange can rip the fabric.

Goldstar Grommet Tool - Hand Setting Die for size 0 grommets. 

Easy to use and inexpensive tool for setting grommets into materials.  Ideal for use in corsetry, stage craft, leatherwork, and garment construction.

To use - super easy instructions:  

• Lay small top with the point up (see image close-up)
• Place grommet, face side down, over point (see image close-up)
• Place your fabric over point
• Place the washer, rounded side up, over point
• Place setting tool over point and give a strong whack with a hammer or mallet

We recommend you have a hole poked into your fabric prior to setting the grommet.  You can use the Screw Punch in the related items to cut a small hole, or use a thick awl. 

Size 0 grommets have a 1/4" (5.5mm) center opening.
