Mystère Paisley rayon challis is soft to the touch, light in weight, and drapes well.  The clay color is muted, and accented by an orange-red, gold, white and black.  Enjoy wearing this as a top or a scarf any time of the year.  It looks like it as milled for our terra cotta sandwashed rayon poplin (VF221-19), but it is just a happy coincidence.  You should totally wear them together!

We tossed into our Summer 2022 catalog Volcano Blooms for good measure, with its various shades of blue flowers.  Like our other 66" wide, rayon/spandex, all-way stretch knit fashion fabrics, this is super soft, has wonderful fluidity, and is breathable. When sewing these lightweight knits, we recommend you use the Design Plus Superfine Fusible Bias Tape to easily stabilize your seams and neckline.  And don’t forget to use fresh ball point size 10 needles for the best results.

Monarch Splash is the third wide rayon jersey knit in this collection. We love the lightness of the print, which looks like faded lavender and gray watermarks on an off-white background.  Get creative with this all-way stretch knit print and ruche a top, twist the front hem, extend the length of a tunic, whip up a summer dress. This rayon gauze is so incredibly soft to the touch you will look forward to wearing whatever you choose to sew.  We recommend sewing Euro Reversible into a loose tunic with rolled sleeves and contrast neckband so you can showcase both sides.  Or sew wide-legged, drawcord pants, and use the reverse as a large border hem.  Making the garments loose will keep you cool on hot days and help to emphasize the fluid nature of this incredible weave.

We recently bought a collection of Lyocell prints from a fashion designer who specializes in winter ski wear with an Aloha vibe.
