Hula Foam is a white rayon and linen blend that has a wonderfully summer brightness to it.  The amount of rayon in this fabric tones down the typical linen wrinkles, so you can have the look of linen without the creases. You can dry clean it to retain its original look, or you can wash and dry it to soften it for a more casual look. The weight is ideal for lightweight tops (you may want a tank or bandeau under it), or stitch it into drawcord pants to wear to the pool or beach.  It will also be wonderful as an embroidered, lined sundress.

We found two knit fabrics that pick up on the buff and the green in the floral scuba knit print, VF231-19.  Extant Buff (VF231-20) comes from our stock collection of 10 oz cotton jersey knits, while Extant Modal is a lovely all-way stretch knit in leaf green. Modal is a higher-end rayon made from beech tree pulp, which gives it incredible softness. This fabric also has a fluid drape, making it ideal for sewing ruched and wrap tops.

We know some of you prefer sewing wovens to knits, so we added Star Nacht to the collection.  This black stretch gabardine should be sewn like any woven suiting fabric. Intrigue Lilac is a firm and full bodied ponte di Roma double knit ideal for structuring knit jackets and slacks, skirts and princess seamed dresses (see related items).
