Often the weft and warp are woven from different colors to give a wonderful iridescent quality. Silk is a natural fibre. The weaving of the fabric may therefore contain minor variations and irregularities that are characteristic of a fine silk yarn and should in no way be treated as defects. Colors may vary due to different dye lots.
