Wool Coating Fabric

We hear it all the time - many of you live in fabric deserts and have no access to finer fabrics.  In out catalogs, we strive to present you with a wide variety of fashion options for all price points and fiber types.  Make a fashion statement coordinating your fine Italian menswear woolen (VF221-21)with a tailored jacket or 3/4 swing coat jacket from Royale Luxe wool bouclé.  From a technical standpoint, the darker side is the face, but we love the floating plum threads on the reverse.  We showcase the reverse here in the image of the garment, using the floating plum threads as a design element.

This is a single brushed melton, so the face has a napped pile, while the reverse does not.  This fabric will make a stunning  winter jacket or coat, and you can save your off-cuts to use as contrast collar and cuffs on one of our other meltons.  The face is so soft, you will believe it has cashmere in it.

This is a double brushed melton, so both the face and the reverse have a napped pile.  This fabric will make a stunning  winter jacket or coat.  This fabric is surprisingly lightweight for a coating. You can make it warmer by adding Kasha Winter Coat Lining and Thinsulate.  You can also keep it as-is and make a wrap jacket.

This is a double brushed melton, with the face and the reverse looking nearly identical.  It is surprisingly lightweight for a winter coating fabric, which makes it an ideal choice for wrap jackets.  You can add Kasha winter coat lining and thinsulate if you wish to make it warmer and more substantial, or line it with Crepe Back Satin to give the inside a pretty pop of color.
