This is a double brushed melton, so both the face and the reverse have a napped pile, although the face is definitely more brushed and napped than the reverse.   This fabric will make a stunning  winter jacket or coat. It is surprisingly light for a coating. To make it warmer, purchase Kasha winter coat lining and Thinsulate from our site. For a sleek, dressy jacket, line with Crepe Back Satin.
