Whoa! Be prepared. This fabric is so elegant in person. It looks like tapestry. The background shadowing definitely has a purple undertone. I’m making a car coat. But the fabric is softer and spongier than it looks. Naturally, since it does look like tapestry, duh.
I’m now thinking of making a reversible coat to give the fabric some stiffness. But, no mistake. This is so pretty, it is worth the change in plan.
A heads up. The Natural Imposter VF-235-26 didn’t look like a dead-on match in my swatchs or on my monitor. But in person, they are perfectly in tone. Now I’m not sure how to use it.
