Global Riviera, like the ruby red version in the first collection, brings an updated look to the lacy overlay. It gives the appearance of a ribbon lace, with alternating sheen and matte swooshes on a mesh base. If you want to take advantage of its stretch, make sure to lay your pattern pieces from selvage to selvage instead of lengthwise. If you choose to line your fabric in a non-stretch fabric, you can lay your pattern pieces out lengthwise.
