Flannel Fabrics

Flannel is primarily woven from either cotton or wool.  It is characterized by its soft face and medium body. This is not a fluid fabric. Cotton flannels are usually sewn into shirts or loungewear such as pajama style tops and pants. Our cotton flannel fabric by the yard is also great for quilting. Wool flannel is a favorite for fashion skirts, jackets, vests, and accents such as cuffs and collars on a jacket made of a contrast fabric.
