Safety Smooth is a heavyweight French terry knit, ideal for sewing into a hoodie, zip-front jacket, and even a cover-up for the pool or beach. Safety Rib (VF242-41) is a wonderful sweatshirt-weight ribbed knit. The rib can be the cuffs and banding for a terry knit jogger and hoodie, or style the ribs as contrast panels for a summer jacket to wear in air-conditioned buildings and on cooler nights.

Five of the six fabrics in our Blitzen Collection are delicious, lightweight rayon blend French terry knits from Telio and Cie in Canada.  We had ordered the tie-dye and the matching solids, but they were only able to ship part of the order due to supply chain issues.  If we receive the other fabrics, we will add them to our website and link them to their companions.  Until then, may we present to you Blitzen Moss, Blitzen Ink and Blitzen Blush (#37, 39, 40) which are tie-dyed with a shibori look.  Then we have Blitzen Dark Rose and Blitzen Stone (#41, 42) which are the “solid” tie-dyes, so they have more of a mottled effect.  See the Related Items to view the collection. The backs look very cool, so don’t be afraid to sew patterns where the wrong side of the fabric shows, like a jacket with a waterfall front or a hoodie.
