Fidelio Velvet is a supple, fluid low-pile plush fabric specially designed for evening wear and special occasion garments. Made by JB Martin, Fidelio has long been sought after by fashion designers and dressmakers who want to offer their clients the most luxurious velvet for evening wear. 

We recommend you hang your velvet from the selvages until you are ready to sew to prevent it from crushing. Use the nap layout of your sewing pattern. We recommend you use a walking foot and temporary spray adhesive to help prevent your fabric from "walking" when you sew.

This fabric has passed the Wysenbeck test for 15,000 double rubs for home decorating.

The high quality of this fabric dictates we take extra special care in shipping the fabric.  It will be hung on a special standing hanger to prevent bunching or creases.  The Standard Flat Rate shipping will not apply to this fabric or that reason.
