Folkwear #213 Child's Prairie Dress & Pinafore pattern. One of our most popular patterns, the full flowing #201 Prairie Dress is resized for girls' sizes 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10. It falls in gathers from a rounded yoke to ankle length. Long sleeves are gathered at the shoulders and into buttoned cuffs. The ruffled collar is set into a collarband, and deep pockets are set into the side seams. The Pinafore, as seen in an 1874 editions of Godey's ladies Book, features tucks in front and back, shoulder bands, and optional waistband casing. It may be worn over the Prairie Dress as an apron with ties in back, or closed in back over a sweater or blouse. The ingeniously simple Sunbonnet (sized for children and women) completes the 19th century look. Strips of cardboard (removable for washing) are inserted into the brim to create a visor.
