These sequins flip over to reveal a different look on each side.   One side is a pearlized purple sequin, the other is matte black. The sequins are stitched well to the base knit fabric, so they don't come off like cheap imitations - this is great for applique work!

To sew a regular seam: smooth all sequins so they are facing one direction.  Stitch with Universal size 12 needle.
To stitch for applique: smooth sequins so they are going one direction.  Lay tissue paper or wash-away interfacing on top so the sequins don't get caught in the presser foot.  Topstitch as normal.
