The Vintage Bathing Costume sewing pattern features a gored skirt with deep pleats in the back, an over the knee length romper, a bodice with short puffed sleeves, a sailor collar and tie, a bathing cap, and a modesty bib.  The style dates from around the 1890's.  

Sizes included are from XS - 3XL.

Suggested fabrics:  original bathing suits were made out of light to medium weight wool fabrics, modern bathing suits can use medium-weight cottons, linens, or blends.
