To choose your correct size, wrap the tape measure around your hips and then sit. The tape measure will be the ease you need. Using that number, choose the same hop size on the pattern, then by increasing or decreasing the darts and pleats, adjust the waist of the pant to fit your waist, but choose the pant size by your sitting hip size.
