Jim was very knowledgeable and patient when working with me on my serger. We really didn't have time to cover enough about the various stitches that my serger can do, and when you'd use them. Threading the serger multiple times was too time consuming.

For future classes, I'd recommend walking through how a serger works and threading the machine one time, with more time spent on when and how you uses the various stitches and needle positions the machine does.

I found a YouTube video to reference back to for threading my machine. Threading the machine will take time, practice and confidence to get good at it.

Also, let your students know that there is convenient parking in the back of the store. I had to carry my machine, which is heavy, too far since street parking was not available on a Saturday.
I hope my comment help. Best regards,

Hi Irene - thanks! All good points. You were his first student, so the feedback is great. We do have the parking options listed on our website, when you click Locations in the HELP section, and our staff is happy to help as well. Thanks for coming to the class and posting the review.
