Stitch Witchery Fusible Web 3000 is a fusible web that bonds two layers of fabric together when activated by a steam iron. Think of it like a glue in paper form that gets gummy and becomes adhesive when heated by the iron. Large areas can be steam basted in 3-4 seconds to temporarily hold in place before permanent bonding. Excess can be removed by covering the area with a damp press cloth and pressing with a steam iron. The excess Stitch Witchery is absorbed into the press cloth.

This is absolutely amazing product. I do a lot of custom work with some very unique fabric layouts. With out this product my work would be almost impossible and specially if it has to be done fast. It holds two parts together very well . The most important, it doesn't leave residue on a needle while machine does embroidery work for applique design. Amazing product. I recommend 100% for special and general sewing work.
