The Purple Thang by Lynn Graves is a great sewing tool because it "pushes, pokes, pulls, p-fudges, p-turns, p-stuffs."  Hold fabric down as it goes under the sewing machine foot.  Feed ribbon through a casing.  Push a corner out.  So many uses.
