• Dress has an elastic waist that has a smocked look, and can be cinched with a tie in front drawstring.
• Bodice features buttons halfway up the front
• Dress has a classic collar with the collar band
• View A has has long sleeves with a placket and button cuffs
• View B has short sleeves with ruffle detail
• Length of skirt is below knee, but can be shortened or lengthened as you like

Fabric suggestions: This pattern works best with light to medium-weight woven fabrics with moderate body and drape like cotton voile, lawn, shirting, linen, lightweight crepe, and rayon.

Suggested Notions: Coordinating thread, featherweight or lightweight fusible interfacing, 2 yards of 1/2" elastic, ten 1/2" buttons for View A or six for View B.
