made this with mid-weight corduroy and love the fit. I'm a medium size and it was true to size. while under construction, it looked a little 'full' around the back on the dress form. but when I put it on, it fit great. I can wear a light sweater under it if I choose and it's not snug fitting. suggestion: take time and read the pattern before beginning. double-check the back and arm length before cutting to make sure it's where you'd like it when finished. out of habit, I add an extra inch to everything I make for me and it was just right. (I opted to not use banding on the edges and slightly adjusted the pattern to make it work. can't wait to make one with banding next).
