The following are garment measurements, they include ease. They are NOT body measurements. To choose your correct size, wrap the tape measure around your hips and then sit. The tape measure will be the ease you need. Using that number, choose the same hip size on the pattern, then by increasing or decreasing the darts and pleats, adjust the waist of the pant to fit your waist, but choose the pant size by your sitting hip size.

• Bottom circumference of the hem is approximately 12" for the 4-18 sizes and 14" for the 14w-26w sizes.  
• Suitable fabrics are stretch denim, stretch linens, any stretch weight pant fabric.
• The waist measurement is " down from the natural waist. Because of the lowered waistline, there is little difference between regular sizing and W sizing. Select the numbers which are closest to your body measurements regardless of size.
