VF203-35 Playa del Sol - Dynamic Cotton Poplin Large Floral Print Fabric from Jams World

This is the second of three bonus fabrics for our mini Summer Catalog.  This also has a Japanese feel as well as Japanese characters printed into the design.  The blue and yellow flowers on this branch art work are enriched by the tiny birds on a pale lavender mottled ground.  The fabric is a very light poplin, so it is a bit more substantial than a Kona Cotton broadcloth, but not heavy or thick like a denim or duck cloth.  If you sew a three-quarter length coat, it will inevitably have a kimino-esque quality to it.  Or stitch up some super cool pants.  The safe garments are a sheath dress or straight skirt, but I think we can go beyond safe this year, right?
