We received this herringbone cotton suiting in three colors, and we are featuring the black in this catalog.  To be honest, when we received it, we thought it was a wide, soft coutil.  If you or your friends enjoy corsetry, you can absolutely use this as a coutil substitute - at over a 75% savings over regular German coutil.  Bhakti Herringbone is a substantial cotton suiting that should be worn as a tailored jacket and straight skirt.
