33% Polyester and 67% Rubber.

Machine wash cold with cool dryer. Can be washed on hot, but heat will adversely affect the rubber over time.

This is like a thin bungee cord.  The rubber core is wrapped by the polyester fibers.  There is good, firm stretch with gret recovery.  

If you are sewing for PPE face coverings and need cord elastic to run behind the ear, we recommend style 7826 which is 1/16" instead of this 1/8".  We find this to be too thick to be comfortable for extended use.
