Holiday Victoria is a combed cotton shirt-weight plaid flannel cross-woven of mallard, pale lilac, red, white and dove grey.  Although the design is small, it is a one-way plaid so use your nap layout (which we recommend for all plaids).  The superior softness of this cloth will make you want to wear it all the time.  Unlike so many plaid flannels this time of year, this one is not a heavy outdoor fabric, but a lightweight, like a rich batiste, so it is ideal for blouses and shirts for everyone.

Great Copy Sewing Pattern #2680 - St. Croix Shirt

The St. Croix Shirt is the ultimate in warm weather comfort. The dropped shoulder, camp-style shirt features a straight hem with side slits or shirttail hem. Worn as a blouse or comfortable jacket, the St. Croix Shirt can be made from a variety of fabrics.

Cotton prints can be mixed and matched for a fun summer shirt. Choose rayon challis for a lightweight top when the temperatures rise. A lightweight linen is always in style and makes a great summertime jacket.

The relaxed fit has petite, average and tall lengths and short and 3/4 sleeve lengths. The collar has either traditional back facing or bias/serger trimmed back neck edge and the shirt can also be embellished with one or two front pockets. Step-by-step illustrated instructions include fitting tips as well as sewing machine and serger techniques.
