We're Moving!

UPDATE:  We will move off of Main Street in Mid-July.  We may close for a couple of days to move and get the staff acclimated to the new location.  Please sign up for our emails to make sure you stay up to date with the move.

Yay!  The Evanston City Council voted in favor of the sale of our building on Main Street.  It's time to move!  This is a good thing, and one we initiated.

We will move our retail store from Main Street into our warehouse at 618 Hartrey Ave in Evanston (north of Oakton, east of McCormick).  We are busy getting the front of the warehouse ready for all the retail fabrics.  

Rather than long tables on one level, we will have a more "Sam's Club" set-up with shelves, taking advantage of the vertical space.  See photos below.

We will still have our large collections, but it will be more compact and much easier to shop, with well organized aisles and signage.  

We will also have one checkout counter for you, instead of several all over the place.  And if you need more of something, or you want to buy wholesale, no worries - the staff can pull more from the back of the warehouse.

We have a parking lot on the north side of our building: FREE parking on-site. 

Over the next few months, we will have moving sales in our retail store on Main Street - the more we sell, the less we have to move.  You score big!  

If you shop in our store, check out our various sales - sign up for our emails.  We will keep you posted for our official move date.  But spread the word - we are moving off Main Street this year.  We will miss the Main-Dempster Mile, and we are looking forward to this new chapter in our 75 year history.
